Why would you just not get a detachable tp kit, take the tp off when not needed and call it a day. Ultra and SG are basically they same bike when you take the TP off, just have a smoother ride, sit a little higher (which can be fixed with a shock change) and more gadgets on the ultra. Seems like a waste of money trading in an untra to have a SG

saw 2 at 27 and 29k at dealer in ct. i wont say which one as i like the folks there and they treat me good but even my wife vouched for me so that i didnt think i was going nuts. i was shocked. had two tone paint. prob had security and a few other do dads but still that is way high to me. Also it depends on your needs. if solo all the time id prob buy a SG to but the wife likes to ride too so i got an ultra for 22k. i was happy. enjoy the new SG

Ah, if they had two-tone paint, that means they had color shop tins on them, so that's going to be another 4k+ above list, so 27 starts making sense.
