28,000 miles on front tire!!!!
My 2007 Ultra just turned 28,000 miles on the original front tire. I have never got that much mileage out of a MC tire. I could have gone to 30,000 or more. But. I have got the money out of that tire. 7 years old and there was very small cracks ,almost unable to see unless looking hard, in the bottom of tread. Have had replacement tire ready to go for months. It will be going on tomorrow.

Gotta be a really dangerous front tire - or you are riding OTR interstate only, hardly ever touching the brakes.
I got 15k on my stock front (Dunlop) and it was the most unsafe tire I ever had. I locked it up at least once per week (should wear it off real fast, right?) and this wooden tire still lasted 15k.

On my '04 EG Classic, the stock front Dunlop D402 went 54,000 miles before I changed it. It was just at the wear bars at the time and there was absolutely no cupping on the tire. I never had a front tire last that long previously. Usually it was wear out 1 front to 2 rears.
On that same bike I changed over to Dunlop E3's and the second front tire lasted 31,000 miles. I think the high mileage was just due to having a good front end on the bike. I have never seen any cupping on the front tires. I think every other bike I rode had cupping on the front tire necessitating a tire change.
