28,000 miles on front tire!!!!

......looks a little threadbare to me. its time. I did both of mine at 20000 on my last service. I probably could have gotten more out of the front but it was close. the rear was starting to get a little squirrely so I just had them do both...and the front disc. the back breaks were great.

Locks up front tire once a week? Looks like someone needs to work on braking techniques. Why all the doubters on this site? When posting, be prepared to be challenged, doubted, told why your opinions are wrong and sometimes called a liar. (Why I love this site!)
BTW - I am at 21333 miles on front tire and reading 3/32". Still a lot if tread. ( just had to check!) EG, mostly 2 up, 36 psi.

I got 24k out of the original D402 on my '07 SG and replaced it after it began to feel squirrelly at times. It had not yet reached Harley's minimum recommendation of 1/32". After getting only 18k out of two E3 fronts I recently changed to a Michelin Commander II (front only), so we'll see how that progresses. By comparison I got >30k on D402s mounted on my old Evo RK.
FWIW, I've had good luck with E3 rears, compiling 20k or more from each of two so far. I'm on my third now. The last one went 22k when it wore down to 1/32" but it too started to act quirky after about 20k, so for me that's the sweet spot. I keep pressure at 40psi cold front and rear.
