My Ultra has 19K on the original tires with plenty of tread left on both the front and rear. It'll go another 3K easy, and certainly make it through the summer.

28K out of the front is great!

I thought I was doing good at 23,000 on the front of my road king. It looked great . After changing it, I realized how bad it was riding and handling. Dont be fooled by looks.

It has to be a Dunlop tire.......can't possibly be anything else

Remember that rubber gets exponentially harder every year the tire is on the bike. The hardness contributes to longer wear, but the down side is that it loses gripping capability and is very dangerous on wet roads. The old tire also becomes more susceptible to cracking. That's why you never want to buy a new tire with a date code older than 2 years.

The best thing I have discovered for long life tire wear is Ride On. Ever since reading Rider magazine's review on it, I've been using it. I'm over 25,000 on my front E3, and just now having some cupping.

I also get 15,000 + on the rear, with Ride On.

I'm just under 22k on my original front tire. It'll be changed out next week before our long trip just for good measure.
