Just for a point of reference, cause the last time I searched for info on the 888, not much was available. My wife and I went for a ride on Sunday. Went for about 120 miles. Felt real good. It was the first time she was on the bike since I have put these tires on 2 years ago (between a broken ankle and a sprained knee, I haven't been on it much either the past 2 years). Anyway, I asked her how she liked the new tires. She said I was going to comment on how gentle the ride was since the last time I was on the bike. I had the rear shocks at at 25-30 psi, the front tire was at 40 psi and the rear at 42 psi. She is only 115 lbs on a bad day.

 

Keep the Metzeler tire inflated to their (higher psi) spec, not to HD's and you'll be happy

 

You are correct. That is when I noticed a big difference in the way these tires rode and handled.

 

I've heard good things from current owners, may be my next set when I'm ready.

 

I run them on both my 06 and my 08 SG. Best tires out IMO. I love them
