I was just wondering about gas mileage? I had my 07 Ultra flashed back in January along with a new radio installed. Radio works fine Gas mileage stinks.

Before anyone says any wise cracks I know the two aren't connected. Gas mileage is around 38 MPG after flashing with 3100 miles on bike. What is everyone else getting?

Was planning a four day trip this weekend just me and the wife. The cold weather coming in killed that.

 

Whats the beef, 38 is a little better than the average with a few mods of 36. Getting the correct mpg on a big harley is tricky. Alot of things can effect it, heat, load, roads, type of gas used. Only way to compare is try and duplicate conditions before and after you do a change. Flashed? the 903? or did you have a new ecm map loaded? 903 just adjusted timing slightly to keep detonation down, a re map would do it for sure because it adds fuel to overcome lean conditions.

 

Hey that a great question? I have no idea. Can't say for sure but I will find out. Maybe I bitchin about nothing. I thought it should be more like 45MPG. Thanks though for the information.

 

mine varies between 36-37.5mpg

I'm a little heavy handed. Nothing like getting a bit of a launch while passing! about 3000 miles so far.

 

I was getting about 38-39 mpg with mine prior to putting it away for the winter.

I was disappointed, especially in that it ran so lean. My '03 RKC with a heavily modified engine, riding two up got 45mpg. I am thinking once I get this build done, and with proper tuning I will get back to that range.

Running lean doesn't necessarily mean good mileage if having to roll on the throttle more to accelerate and pass.

 

I get 41 to 43 Mpg depending on the type of riding donewith my 07 Road King Classic with a Stage 1 A/C unit, V&H Oval mufflersalong with the V&H Fuel Pack.

I am getiing 41 to 42 on my stock '07 with 1500 miles on it. Mostly highway

 

Depending on riding habits, 38 is not bad, the best I've done on the RK is 39

.....if you want to get over 40, you have to keep the radio on FM........sorry,I couldn't help it

 

I ride mine like I stole it....and it looks like I'm not getting much over 30...

Disappointing Gas mileage... but if you have 25k+ for an ultra....

 

My 07 ultra was built on 1-11-07 and I get about 37 or 38.
