Head light, tail light and running lights wont turn off
After a recent ride on my 2007 street glide I developed an issue with my lights not turning off. I had the key switch in the off and lock position and the lights were still on. I fiddled with the switch and started and shut off the bike a few times and then the lights turned off. I had no further issues for the rest of the day. the next day I rode home and had the same problem again, only this time they would not turn off at all until I disconnected the battery. Any and all pointers would be appreciated. The stealership told me to replace the ignition switch but I cannot find out how to disassemble it other than tumbler cover piece.

IF you removed and replaced the ignition lock- the cams may not be aligned properly.
watch the youtube viddys on this and how to make a tool from a 1/4" piece of squarshed copper tubing.
I'd start there.
usually when the ignition switch fails, it fails so that power doesn't pass when it is turned on.
if you have extra high wattage bulbs up front, that can cook the switch

OK so I changed out the switch which seemed to help a little. Now I still have an issue with the lights staying on periodically but now my bike is draining the battery completely dead overnight. Could this be my ECM? or possibly a stuck ignition relay switch? Im so confused on this now I hate that I might have to bite the bullet and take it to the stealership.

to find a draining "circuit" an ammeter is used to measure the current in amps on each circuit.
you can try first
disconnect voltage regulator ( if it has a bad diode, it'll drain back).
then pull fuses
you could also just have a duff battery- batteries can go bad or can discharge through dirt on the casing
can't be of more specific help- this is all kinda hands-on by someone with some electrical knowledge.
