No ethanol gas

I think that those who posted that they received better gas mileage while using E-10 must grow and sell corn to the oil industry for making the fuel. It has been proven by many researchers that you receive less mph by using the E-10 blend fuels. The only people it has been good for has been those who are now rich from investing in it's use and production. If the fuel is so darn good, why have all of the builders of Lawn mowers, Outboard motors, Generators, Pumps and so on printed in their owners manuals that if you use it, your warranty will be "VOID". I blew a piston in my 1977 Triumph 750 Bonneville by using it when it was first introduced and the oil companies were feeding us all the BS about how good it was. We now have several ethanol free service stations to buy fuel from, all of our Shell stations sell regular fuel with no E-10.

This has been my experience too. This goes for anything with an engine. I see it on both bikes and my truck.

Ethanol (alcohol) does not produce as much energy as gasoline, so E10 or any other ethanol/gas blend will produce less hp and fewer miles than 100% gas
The ethanol blends are made to be used in 30 days. After that point, it begins to degrade, forming gums and other solids that crap up carbs, injectors and valves.
The "anti Ethanol" products made with alcohol (read the MSDS - if it ends in 'ol' it's alcohol) actually make it worse.
The emulisfying products are hard on rubber an plastic over time, too. Emulsifiers are bad juju for fuel.

E-10 is all we have here in California and our bikes run fine, don't blow up, and get the same mileage as everyone else. Stores fine, if it didn't you would here about it as I guarantee 99% of the riders out here don't do anything special when riding or storing.. As 1 poster put it, the sky is not falling. And I don't care who states it, you don't get 20% better fuel mileage when using pure gas, LOL. 3% tops.
if we did not have such weasels in the Congress and Senate this subsidy we give to ethanol producers would be gone and then ethanol would go bye bye.
I believe if you burn through the tank of gas after fill up and are not storing it for any amount of time you would probably be okay.
