Another Rim Question

RE: Another Rim Question
I just put a 18/21 combo on my bike, and the rear is supposed to be the very close to the same height, the front rim will raise the front end about 1 1/4" (tire is about 2 1/2" taller) I installed a 1" lowering kit in the front, and the bike feels about the same height, I can't tell the difference. Have fun with the upgrade!

RE: Another Rim Question
An important thing to remember when looking at the overall height specs on the front or rear is... only 1/2 of the difference in the two tire sizes is the amount that bike will raise. Typicall rear 18" low profile metzeler's are less than1/2" taller than stock rear tires... this raises the back of your bike by less than 1/4". Anyone who tells you they can see that increase is probably being tricked by the axtra 1" of wheel showing under the bags in the rear.

Do you own renegadewheels? Just wondering, cause spring is here and lots of us over zealous bikers like chrome and polished wheels/parts.........hope to hear from you some more in the forums.

Wow Kern, yours and tsglide's bike look nearly the same! Is it true that BLACK is faster than blue?
