HD needs VROD motor in Ultra
#71
I recently traded my venture for an FLHTCU. The venture was every bit as heavy with a 1300 v4 that had more power and torque than the HD. But I am getting older and really found the venture a chore at low speeds, the HD has a better balance maybe lower centre of gravity. The venture motor was a very good unit too bad it was not FI.

I think the new management at MoCo are really thinking outside of the box, look at the street bikes and the electric bike. Who knows maybe they are looking to overhaul the V-rod line, update the frame (it’s due anyway) and come out with a true Sport Tourer or Road Rod Touring bike, there are customers who would consider buying one.
