For short legged people like you & me(I am 5'6" with a short inseam), you are better off with a Corbin seat.

I have had both a Mustang & a Corbin on mine & the Corbin sits quite a bit lower than the Mustang. I had Corbin narrow the nose on mine also.

I like the Corbin better in every way, the leather seating area is very comfortable(Mustangs only come in vinyl)& it looks better also as the Mustang leaves all the ugly frame welds exposed & the Corbin covers them just like a stock Harley seat.

By the way, I have used a rider backrest for years & I would never ride without one.

You can ride a LOT farther in a day comfortably using a BR, once you try one you'll be hooked........
