Do NOT rent a 14 touring!!

Thanks!
I wouldn't have believed it unless I experienced it. Light years ahead of my 11 (which I had done quite a bit of work to - 107 kit etc) in handling and overall feel. I hesitate to say it, but it felt like a Honda - but better of course. Smooth, powerful, and very easy to ride. HD really is ushering in a new era with the 14s. I honestly had no intention of trading up. Hell, I just changed the oil the day before and put an oil cooler and new tires on 6 weeks prior. The whole reason I even saw the bike I bought was because I went in to buy an oil filter. Then the wheels started turning in the mind and I figured, what the heck - take one for a ride. The rest is history.

I made that mistake last week and after spending the day playing in the Ozarks on a 14 Street Glide Special, there was NO WAY I could go back to my 2011 Ultra. I foolishly left my bike to be evaluated for trade in when I rented the SGS thinking they would low ball me. To my surprise they offered $4k more than I figured they would and discounted the new bike. I told the guy I would think about it. He pulled my bike around and I just figured - What the hell. Walked back in and accepted his offer.
It was a bit of a trick condensing my travel belongings from the Ultra to the SGS. I ended up shipping a bunch of stuff home.
Here she is along the route home.
Sand Camo Denim. I'm doing black pipes and forks to highlight the lighter color. I think it will look good.

Where did you buy the bike? (Edit: Never mind, I should have read farther down. Never bought a bike from them, but like there dealership).
Come back up end of Sept. for Bikes, Blues, and BBQ
Oh, and congrats on the new purchase.
