Sooo the 2015 Road Glide is up for order

IMO the road glide fairing is too far forward, maybe to show off the gas tank.
I'd like to see a frame mounted fairing with integral lowers that offers good protection and looks a little more modern (GW-ish but not). Could break from tradition and have the windshield and a portion of the upper fairing turn with the handlebars in a split fairing design to avoid clearance issues.
I own a 2000 RK and have used the stock windshield, Klockworks Billboard, real Harley Batwing fairing w/ four different windshields. Bike handled the best and was most comfortable overall with the Klockworks windshield. Also the MPG were better with the KW vs. the batwing. However I think the bike is more visible with a full fairing.

Rode a GS1000 'zook for years with Vetter SS, lowers, trunk and bags. I liked the frame mounted fairing on that and the 550 Honda w/Pacifico fairing frame mounted before that. I was considering a RG when I traded up this year, but didn't want to wait through the riding season here in Michigan. The primary concern I've got about the RG is how much buffeting the passenger gets - I heard it was considerable. I'd also be concerned if the new Roadie has the same limited travel suspension as the SG, as that was another reason I traded off the '12 SG.. Other than that, I might look at a '16......

My dealer showed me a picture of the 2015 fairing. It was not that much different. It appears to be a little shorter on from the side view. from the driver view the radio is stll out front and the speedo/tach where it has always been. They have incorporated the temp and volt gauge in the radio display freeing up the spots for tweeter speakers. It does have the vents up front like the batwings now do. All in all the changes is evolutionary not revolutionary. Glad to see it back in the lineup.

I once had a dog that would go outside, find a spot and **** on it. Then she'd take a lap around the yard coming back to the same spot, and take a crap on it. After a second lap, she'd finish with another crap right on the same spot. Next time she'd pick a new spot. When she was about 1 year old we changed her name to Repeat for this reason. She was a great dog, odd but great, and it hurt when she died.
My wife calls this forum Repeat Revisited. Because its the same crap every year...and we can always find it in the same spots.
We'll see the new Fugly when we see it, till then, the speculation is just a pile of crap.
