Well I've tried about every tire that would fit my bike and some that wouldn't. Not really but seems that way. I should run a 200/50/17 but there aren't that many tires that will fit. I can go with a 55 series but there 2 wide and tall, changes the gear ratio a lot also.
As far as the Commander II it was going to make it around 11,000 to 12,000 miles on the rear tire which was a 200/55/17 but a piece of broken beer bottle thought different, went right through the tread. I was having some cupping issue's but with a tire that wide it's to be expected I guess.
So after some digging I found these Exedra Max 200/50/17 radial and after looking at reviews they seem to get 11 to 12,000 also so it's on it's way.
Anyone have experience with this tire ?
