How is the weather for riding in April and May, average temp around Maggie Valley and Wayneville.

 

Weather will either be awesome or very wet, or a little of both.

I lived a couple hours from there, and my mother lives over the mountain near Gatlinburg.

I live in Maggie Valley and the weather here in late April and early May can very drastically. I have seen the highs in the low 30s and have seen it as warm as 85. that time of year here in the mountains the temps can very as much as 30 degrees in just a couple of days. Even if it is warm in the valley when you get to the top of a mountain it can be cold as hell. As for the riding it is a dream some of the best ridding anywhere as far as I am concerned. If you have never been here before you will love it.
