Default Fish bowl headlight

I rode through the heaviest rain I have ever been in on a motorcycle on Sunday morning in northern Wisconsin. I was chewing gum and my mouth was literally filling up with water! When I went to clean the bike this morning there was a pool of water 1 inch deep across the entire bottom of the headlight...I could have put a fish in there! I called the dealer and he said "we'll that's not a sealed unit"...NO **** COLUMBO!!.....anyway I took the headlamp out and tipped it and the water came out...still works too (2013 SG)

This is most likely how the water got in, in the first place.

Ethyl alcohol (Ethanol) will capture trapped water then evaporate. In principle rain water carries no mineral load so it should leave no trace.
