if you care, the 09/10 used a version with a wider nose, and a much smaller rear section- sleeker.

Thanks mike but I need a narrow nose as I can get. So the 13-14 seat would work best I think.

 

well it would be the 11~14 seat then.



if you didn't understand dawg's post; many HD part numbers end with a 2 digit suffix. that indicates the model year the part was introduced.
( but does not always indicate fitment some parts may retrofit).

the current FLHX seat has a -11 suffix.


as for the mod- ask MCC which version seat they would prefer modding for you-or maybe they have something there for you.
saves shipping across the border twice.
