I use the front fork baffle and that took care of 95% of the rain that comes up between the fairing and the tank. I also have the "fangs" that help with wind management.

This works great for me in the rain. Couple it with Nikwax visor proof and you are golden. Works best with a 3/4 helmet.

Rain suit and 3/4 helmet. I've ridden all day in a downpour and ended the day dry. Don't overthink it.

I currently ride a '13 CVO Ultra with the upper and lower fairings, the JES wind deflectors, the air fork baffle, hand wind deflectors, and a 10" re-curve windshield and when I ride in the rain I still get wet!

It seems that at the start of every season, I say that I will not ride in rain (at least heavy rain) but I still (occasionally) find myself puttin' down the freeway in a downpour!

I've found the best way to stay somewhat dry in such a situation is to put the hood of your rain suit UNDER your modular or FF helmet and put you "gators" on before you put your rain pants on.
I also have a pair of "rain mittens" that I wear over my gloves and that really makes what would be a miserable ride at least bearable.

Whenever I try to put my hood under my helmet it always wants to go down over my eyes. Maybe just impatience. Never did think to put gaiters on before the rain suit though. Makes sense. Looks like I will be riding the better part of 98 miles in the rain here in just a little bit.

Good grief......rain....really? You should be asking how to deal with a 1/2" hail hitting you in the face going down a steep muddy dirt road in Colorado with a 3/4 helmet and no face shield. Rain.....heck, just rain would have been a freaking relief.
