Default New pad or new backrest

I hAve the short back rest on my 2011 flhx and now I have a new seat on it and the back rest is too short . Can I buy a higher pad or do I need a whole new back rest. Thanks

You can buy a longer sissy bar and reuse your pad, I believe.

you talking about the drivers back rest or the passenger back rest. i havent heard of a longer driver back rest but a longer passenger back rest/sissy bar is certainly an available option.
