Considering converting my 2005 Electra Glide FLHTPI to a Road Glide. Thought about trading but mine is payed for. Spending 20 grand on a newer shark is not feasible. All the sharks I have found in my price range have more miles than I am comfortable with on a used Bike. I bought my Police E Glide with only 900 miles on it (now has 40,000) and I know how it has been maintained. I can handle the swap my self and have the ability to get it painted for material cost. Do any of you that have done this still have the parts list? I am estimating about 2 grand for this project.

 

I did mine and your correct on pricing. Well close to it. I had my inner and outter painted to match my pewter denim streetglide. I went and searched for everything used parts which helped out in pricing. Good luck with your conversion!!
