1996-2013 "Batwing Fairings" all use the same windshield.
2014 is a different design & the 1996-2013 windshield will not fit the 2014

I'm similar in size and I'm using the 7" dark smoke. It works well for me and my sunglasses and cap will stay put @ 75+ mph. I have a couple of LRS ultras in different sizes that offer more wind protection but I prefer the windsplitter because of the kewl factor and how easy it is to look over. Any decent dealer will have demos in stock and the only way to know for sure is to demo one. They are overpriced but then again what isn't when buying H.D.
