Stupid not to? I don't wear a mesh jacket or a full face helmet. What does that make me?

Chaps on when riding in hot weather? Just curious as to what people do to reference the leathers while hot outside. As well do most where helmets? I live in a state where helmets are not required but still where one myself.
Just a thong in hot weather

Chaps and a jacket for colder days , Hoodie and jeans for mild days , jeans and a t shirt hot days . I will bring along sleeve t shirt for long runs to prevent sunburn.
Mesh jacket and full face helmet. Stupid not to
I rekon I am just stupid, I only wear a FF helmet when its cold or its raining when I leave for work other than that its 1/2 helmet for me.

Myself, hate helmets, only when required. Chaps are for Village People, but gotta admit, below 50 I wear them or I'd have to call 911 to get off the bike. I tell everyone leather is best with the kickstand down + fabric is best with it up. I've got the HD Roadway jacket in leather + waterproof fabric. The leather is actually cooler in the summer while on the move because it has shoulder vents (which are great) + the fabric doesn't. If it's over 70, tank top or cut-off t-shirt. BUT, if I where safety conscious, I'd be in leather not fabric. JMHO

I too, dress for the weather and not the crash. I wear leather when cold, jeans and jacket when cool, and shorts and a tee or tank top when hot. No helmet unless I am in a state that requires it.

Some will say I'm stupid, but this has worked for me for over 40 years on two wheels, and I see no reason to change now. Each to their own........

just got and trying a mesh jacket this year. Waterproof liner stays in the side bag. Wear chaps often... sometimes over shorts. Sometimes over pants don't want dirty. have been guilty of jeans and tee.

No leathers anymore. Textile, waterproof & liner for cold weather,it also has vents. LL Bean fleece lined levis & Under Armour #2 base layer for cold weather riding. Textile, waterproof, lightweight & vents for mild weather. Wranglers, Under Armour's hot weather t-shirt & HD's lightweight breathable short sleeve shirt. I take the pants from my rain suit.

Wore leather in cold, lightweight clothes in warm, then a couple years ago got an armored mesh jacket and pants, and wear at least the jacket all the time unless it gets too cold, then leather again. On a hot day, I'm actually cooler with the mesh - have mesh gloves, too. Feels like air is swirling around inside my clothes, and no sunburn. Gotta the mesh jacket when off the bike in warm weather; no air flow, it gets hot quick, seems weird how cool it gets moving. With the rain liner and a sweater or sweat shirt, it's good down to the 40's, too.
