Amsoil in all 3 holes; SAE60 in motor...20/50 in primary and 75/140 in tranny
They might be a bit heavy on the start but once the engine gets hot, they are great.
It works for me.
Why would you do straight 60 in the motor. Thats just causing more wear on start.

see, this is why these are the ****ing dumbest threads ever.
Everyone is off topic and comparing oils when it has not one things to do with the original posts.
I have a friend who has an uncle that makes our oil special just for the two of us. its light years ahead of anything you can get in the stores or as seen on TV. This oil solves all the issues that have ever been mentioned from the beginning of time too.
I've used Sprectro 75w140 "Heavy Duty Platinum 6-Speed Tranny Oil" last two changes. Excellent stuff. Gave up Redline, which I liked a lot, to run Spectro in the tranny.
Low tech but heavy duty & reliable Rotella T 15W40 has been working well for me in the primary.
I was wondering if amsoil super shift racing trans fluid would be ok for the primary in an 08 street glide and spectra speed 6 in the tranny? Any thoughts from anyone that might have tried it?
I posted the same question in the oil topics section and didn't get quite the same answers...
But, back on subject. This blend was just recommended to me by a local indy and the more I read about it in various places on the web the more I like it. I bought some and will try it in my primary in the next week or two.

Because after the few minutes that it takes for the engine to get hot the "60" protects the parts better then the 20/50.
I don't know about your engine but mine is air cooled and it runs hot.
