I'm in need of a rear tire and am going to Americade for a day trip this coming Saturday. Is it cheaper to purchase and have installed there then at your typical Indy? Also is there typically a long wait to have it installed? I'm going to be with a group and don't want to hold them up to much. Looks like Avon and Dunlop are sponsoring so I would imagine that will be my options.

Years ago when I lived up there it was always cheaper and quicker to have them install a new tire at the vendor site. It is a pain getting the bike thru the crowds though.

 

Call Mcdermotts HD in Fort Ann...they usually have the Metzler truck there during Americade in years past...About an hr...in and out, good pricing.
