Iron Butt: 49 State in 10 Day Planning Advise Request

I'm not sure ...
Doing laundry on the road sucks. I found some single use dry cleaning sheets at the grocery store a few years back. They come in an aluminum pouch and are soaked in a scented dry cleaning solvent. Throw your jeans and Ts in the dryer wth 1 sheet and 30 minutes later you're done. Beats the hell out of pumping quarters into the washer/dryer for 2 hours at the end of a long day.

Spotwalla is a website that connects to a variety of GPS-enabled devices. The list of App's that are compatible is on the Spotwalla website--I use "Bubbler GPS" (totally free) on my android phone. Whatever device (through whatever App) you use to connect needs to be powered on and active while moving to send regular signals that Spotwalla records.
When you create a trip in Spotwalla, a web link can be generated for you to share with friends--they just need to click on the link in an email you might send them, or post to some other site. No need to create a bunch of accounts for them.
Here is a link to another forum I use frequently, with a detailed walk-though for using Spotwalla: http://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.../?hl=spotwalla
Try it out on a small trip just around your area once or twice to get the process down before blasting off.
All the best,
Shane
