800 in one day ?. You won't see nothing just because you'll only have an hour or two of seeing Spotty Glimpse of Americade and return home in the dark.
Spend one day/night in Lake George and enjoy your dinner at Lobster Pot then head on for Upper VT/NH. Hint: Mount Washington and Weirs Beach (Rainconia Bike Week) before heading on for home.

If you're looking for the 1% lifestyle, topless women, and drunken messes littering the streets, Americade isn't for you, that's for sure.
If you want to take a day and enjoy some beautiful riding around the lake george area, hit it up!

It's not the destination... it's the journey.

I just went up on Monday from Cape Cod. 550 miles r/t. The HD people were just setting up and said that it didn't start until Tuesday. So it was a long ride for a cheeseburger.
I did all highway up but did back roads back. Nice ride. great scenery.
