I cut the old tire off with a saw's all ( no good any way ) makes it so much easier to get off the rim.

+1 on the No Mar Tire Changer. I have the Jr Pro with the posi clamps and haven't had any problems with Harley tires. I have tried to use the No Mar on some car tires, but I was only able to unmount the old tires from non low-profile rims. It just seemed to me that the sidewalls on car tires were to stiff for me to mount with this machine. It's also possible I'm not using the correct technique. If you do get a No Mar, you really need to watch the videos since there is a technique to using the machine properly.

belt tensioner gauge? Can you explain that?

really? Cut down the center, then peel off the rim? Can you elaborate? Never occurred to me.

Find the heavy spot on the rim. Then on the tire. Mount accordingly, i.e. opposite each other. Dump in some Ride-on, and you're done.

when you put the rear tire back on you need to make sure there is the correct belt deflection. on mine the belt needs to be within 1/4"-5/16" at 10lbs of pressure (which is what the gauge is for)

I put Ride On in my wife's back tire, both of my tires and both tires on my dad's ride. They all ride smooth as glass.

After my last episode with my dealer I'll be changing my own. Sent my wife by the dealer with 2 rear wheels. One wheel had a new tire on it and the other one the tire had started cupping pretty badly. Had them put the new tire on the other wheel. 2 breakdowns and 1 mount...$103. That's just ridiculous!!!! Not to mention they scratched the hell outta my wheel.

2010 Limited with some stuff
