Default 2013 Streetglide - Chrome Plating Stock Wheels

Because of the bare aluminum areas that have to be polished, I am interested in having them chrome plated. Has anyone had that done? If so, who did it for you and what was the cost. Also, did they protect the machined areas from being plated?

Thanks for any help.

There are several companies who chrome and sell them on Ebay. Do a search on "chrome street glide wheels" and you'll find several.

I had mine done by impress off of Ebay. They sent me a set of wheels and charged me a core along with a shipping label. I swapped them over and shipped back for refund. It was an easy process and I love the way they look. I had them install new bearings on the new wheels since it was only an additional $80.
I think it cost me right at 1K with lowers, bells, rotors and Pulley.

I actually prefer the look of the stock, black rim. However, I don't like polishing the outside aluminum edge.

Is there any way to chrome/anodize/seal just that area?

Thanks

Get the chrome and then talk to Joe the Powder pro - he said they can coat specific areas on a plated wheel.

Impress plating will do what you need done and they do beautiful work.

Be sure to add polished rotors while you're at it.
