From one bald guy to another, the most I've put on the seat thus far is 200 miles in one sitting. I could instantly feel the inch it sets you back. That helped me with a more comfy position, but I tip the scale at about 215 and slide back a little if I goose it off the line. It hasn't caused any lower back or between the shoulder blade discomfort for me, so I am pleased.

Not a cushy seat, so if your looking for a pillow to sit on this isn't it.
