21" wheel here....I did not want to rake mine so I went to a 21...I also lowered the front end 1" my bike rides great pretty much as stock...no issues at all...I run everywhere..back roads Curves, highway...and it Rides fantastic...for me it was a cost issue you can run a 23 and they do look great...but you have to rake the front end and have it done right...or it won't ride well at all...I have friends that run 26" and they can keep up with a stock bike even in the curves..because they dropped a fortune building the bike right....yes it is a little learning curve...but after a couple rides...it's like you never did it...

Same for me, 21" up front and lowered the front 1". Ride is great. Since I switched to the 21" up front, I have rode the bike over 20 mountain passes over 10,000 feet this past summer with no issues. SJ Ron (I have a 18x4.25 in the rear)
I'd go with the 21, looks great and no mods needed. If your bike is a 2007 or older check out my 21/18 combo I've got for sale along with single side rotor set up. Killer price, and everything is in mint condition. Just took them off as I replaced them with another set to match my new paint, etc.
I have a 21" front wheel and it handles just like stock. I did lower it, 1.5 inches. Some people will debate if lowering the front end is necessary or not. I liked the look and the way it handles with the front end being lowered. Good Luck to you, Sir!!!
I have 21" front 18" rear, and I think it rides better than it did stock. It handles more like my Dyna did, much easier in the corners. Don't let anyone tell you it's not a good setup

Agreed.....21/18 combo here..... Rides a little different, perhaps a bit higher, but IMHO, much better than stock.
