Default Wiring harness for King Tour pak...

I have a 2009 Road King Police, and I have a Tour Pak I want to add lights on. I have all the lights, and just need to find a wiring harness that plugs into the bike, and can then offer me run / brake / turn options inside the pack.
Since the Police bike did not have a "tour pak" as such, there is not harness at all.
Any hints on what harness / harness pieces I can get to simplify this work,..??

Thanks.

I see it's your first post. Welcome. Sorry I can't help but if you get the Service Manual Supplement for the Police Bike you should find a wiring diagram for your bike. There is also another site 'Retired Police Bikes' that you may find helpful.

First off welcome!

If I'm correct, you will have to order the ultra wiring harness.

My bike didn't come with a tourpak and I had to order the same ultra wiring harness in order to hook up my tour pak with side marker led lights, speakers, tour pak led light, etc, etc.

Make sure your order the wiring harness for your model year.

It wouldn't hurt to look behind the fuse block to see if the wires might be there, that's where mine were on my street glide. My hogtune pods came with a wire harness for the speakers but other than that I didn't need the ultra harness to connect everything on my bike.

on my 09 FLHTC- I stripped off the stock wiring harness and used a $12 flat 4 trailer wiring kit.
If you can wire, you can save $

I spliced into the stock wiring harness under the seat, my new wiring runs behind the left side panel, along the strut and the plug is velcro'd to the top of shock when not in use- it also has leds which is handy for trouble shooting.

the mating plug is with my tourpak and gives me ground, brake, run light functions and the 4th conductor is for aux...usb and 12 outlets in the T/P.
if you wanted turn signal function you'd need at least 5 conductors.

H-D wiring:

black is ground
blue is run
red/yel is brake

violet and brown are turns

cop bikes can be funny, lights and stuff can be hacked off when civilian-ized. the service manual has wiring diagrams
