I had cams and head work done on my bike with the TTS tuner. My indy referred me to a tuner that he knew that can tune the bike with his laptop. He tried three times to get it right. I road from just North of Houston to Dallas for a dyno tune. After the tune, there was 11 more hp and 10 lb tq more. Enough to make a world of difference. Get it dynoed.

Thanks for all your thoughts fellas. I've decided to do a bit more searching to find a different service shop. My bike is my pride and joy and want nothing but the best for it... (as most of us on here feel). Thanks again!

Remember, there's much more to a tune than the peak numbers.

I'm curious to see what your thoughts are on the difference in feel.
Results are in......tuner said the canned map I had really wasn't that bad but it was to rich and was breaking up.

So here's the numbers before and after:

75.2hp@ 5360rpm & 92.4ft-lbs@ 2721rpm
VS
79.5hp@ 5293rpm & 100.7ft-lbs@ 2824rpm

Throttle response is much more crisp. I also was getting popping when starting but that is gone. Idle is very smooth as well.

What do you guys think?

put an Andrews 57 in that ride....great improvement in all areas. Not sure what tuner you run...but after my cam unstall I went to 96 hp and 112 trq...TMax tuner...

I'm running TW222's with a PCV. Also have true dual so there's some limitations there.

I don't know what part of Wisconsin you are located, but if you can get it to Kutter in Janesville you won't be sorry. Just had cams installed by them with a Dyno tune. Wow, what a difference, then you are done, no jacking with a portable tuner just ride.

You think? I was disappointed with the HP results on paper. Probably the true duals holding back the HP numbers?

Seems low but what do I know... I dont think the true duals are that big of a loss.. a little but not that much. You should be well over 80 hp I think
