I want to have the option of having a fairing on my Road King for longer trips. I see prices everywhere from cheap to a couple grand for fairings that will fit. My question is how hard would it be to take someones fairing take off and have it converted to a quick detach to fit my bike??

Not worried about the paint job more if the interior of a standard fairing has enough meat to be modified.
