I have the Dresser Duals with CFR's. Best sounding mufflers in my opinion if loud is your preference...They do mellow out when cruising but their sound in Unmatched.

You mentioned dresser duals, is that mean you replaced the stock header? Headers or de-catting makes a big difference in the sound. De-cat or headers = Louder

Im running Cobra powerport headers, SEAC, and 3.5 Rineys with Flvieds on my 2011 FLHX.Those slips sure sound good, they bark when I twist the throttle and mellow out at highway speeds.

I agree with this post. I get the jake brake sound but I think it sounds cool and it doesn't pop/backfire. The sound only happens when I let off the gas as oppose to untwisting it when I slow down.

Ok guys, I heard some Rinehart's 4in with dresser duals the other day in person and asked him about them. We left the store at the same time and I followed him in the car till my turn off. Loud when taking off and a good rumble cruising. I going to get some Rinehart's 4in. and live with it. I could hear it with the window up. These monster rounds are to quiet. I have about got run over several times with people going into my lane on the 4 lane. LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES. I AGREE!!!

I have heard the CFR in person and didn't like. They have the jake brake sound worse than monsters. I will admit they sound good idling.

It seemed like I lost a little power and gas mileage suffered some. I went from 43mpg to 39mpg just with mufflers. I had V&H twin slash rounds before these. They had a whistling noise to them while cruising. Could hear it real good going beside a barrier.
