I am looking to add an HD luggage rack to my '14 SG. I've got a shorty antennaeon the bike and I'm wondering if I have to get rid of it to have a luggage rackand luggage mounted. Has anyone kept it after installing? I'm going on a tripthis weekend and don't want to go through the hassle of installing a hiddenantennae right now.

I have the stock antenna on my bike and when i put the quick detach luggage rack on it, the antenna will touch the edge of it. When I put the bag on the rack, it slightly overhangs the rack and pushes the antenna off the rack. My antenna is barely touching the bag and it doesn't hurt a thing. Rode 600 miles with it like that. No worries for me.

Put your bag on the rack and see how it shapes up. I think you will probably be ok.
