How to polish light scuffs from paint
So I was putting some new bars on my SG. I put a blanket on the tank but apparently it wasn't as soft as I thought. There are some light scuffs in the paint. Not real noticeable but I'm a little obsessive. What's the best way to buff that out. I don't want to make it worse.
Thanks.

It might have been a combination of the towel and dirt that caused the scratches. Harley clear is relatively "soft".
Also consider "ScratchX" (made by Meguiar's) that you can get most anywhere.

I had a ton of light scratches on my tank...the previous owner apparently had a tank bag, and the Turtle Wax Black Box took care of the scratches and the finish looks like new.

This polish is the balm!! It isn't cheap.... But this is what I use... This product came recommended from a professional auto detailed I used to polish my hard bags... This sealant will protect your paint and make the bike easier to keep clean. There is a hole system but it gets pricy fast...
