Default Pipes too Loud after removeal of cat!

2014 Limited. when purchased I switched Jackpots over from my 2010. Sounded fine until I went with de-catted head pipe and tuner. Jackpots were too loud. For whatever reason, Jackpots were much quieter on my de-catted '10. Figured I go with some tame HD slip-ons. Got the Cannons but they are also too loud.

Any suggestions on quieter pipes?

I seem to recall a member saying they had decatted their bike then refitted the stock mufflers, which gave a decent sound increase. Worth a try?

It really depends on how quiet is quiet to you. If memory serves me correctly mufflers for 2010 and up are less restrictive because the cat is in the head pipe. Any mufflers made for theses years will be louder without a cat. Try looking / listening to CVO mufflers, S&S is supposed to have very quiet performance muffs, or Super Trapp internal disk mufflers.

Let me ask a question. Too loud to you, your wife or your neighbors? If I start mine with the pipes facing a wall or in the garage they are really loud. In the street and on the road I don't notice them. Bother you while riding?

They're too loud for me. I have to jack the radio up most all the way to hear the music.

V&H Power Duals on mine with V&H Monster Ovals. The Monster Ovals are deeper sounding than stock, a little louder but by no means a "loud" pipe. No droning tones on long rides, able to hear my radio easily with volume about halfway up. If you are around many bikes, especially with the holiday weekend coming up, take notice of what sounds right to your ear and see what they have installed.
See attached pic for what my Ovals look like.

I see your point if you can't hear the music. I may have the same issue if I had a radio, but I don't on a RKC.

I had Jackpots on my 2010 road king and they weren't that loud. But I can see them being louder on a 103 motor, and perhaps the twin cool is louder still. But I think you are already on the quiet end of the spectum unless you go with a factory muffler like a CVO takeoff. As noted above Supertrapp can be made very quiet by removing plates.
FWIW, the Big City Thunder QQ baffles really make a difference - might even bring sound down to stock levels on your bike. Joe

You already have the Jackpot's, so grab a set of Fuel Moto's Quiet Baffles!
