I got the power vision two weeks ago but did not go with the autotune module. Is it worth the extra $200+? I also didn't bother to route the cable to the bars. Just flashed it then put it in my tour pac.

Same with my 07. Ram mount. I keep it on the bike all the time. I use the gauges to monitor the engine while riding.

You don't need the auto tune module, you can do a basic auto tune, which the PV does using your OEM (narrow band) o2 sensors.

If you just want to dial in a good canned tune, it will do fine with the basic auto tune...

If you were going to tune from scratch, and/or have an extremely modded engine, the auto tune module, with wide bad o2 sensors, would be the ticket...

Just my 2 cents, FWIW....

I have a tune that Jamie gave me at fuel moto so It's running great right now. I'm putting cobra power ports on next week so I've already requested a new map.

I'm going to run the cable tonight and mount it on my bars for a while.

My set up, double-sided 3M-tape.

Well, can't speak to the 2014 models but. I have the Garmin gps mount on my street glide. It comes with a weather cover for when gps unit isn't installed. I was thinking it would be nice to have a quick release so we (my son and I ) drilled holes in the cover and mounted the swivel mount that comes with PV to it! Thereby getting a fairly quick release (still have to remove cable). Then I ordered a replacement cover (was like $7). Works great and no extra crap on bars.

My apologies for responding so late. I didn't see the question until now.

Snug as a bug in a rug. I've never had a problem with the X.
