I have the liners and the bags from the previous owner. GNRider is right. the liners seem to provide some resistance to the bags sliding in and out easily. Otherwise, the liners make a little nicer finish inside and the bags make a very convenient overnight bag.

they make great acoustic material if you have saddle bag lid speakers as well! I've had them since day 1on my ultra.

I have a pair from my 12 limited, but they don't fit the 14 and I miss them. it's annoying when something rattles around in the bag if you don't have them. I could probably modify them to fit, but i'll just sell them and get the right ones.
Time to list them in the classified section.

I just bought some liners yesterday for my '14. Awesome material and great addition. Pricey? Yup. Worth it? To me they were.

I don't store a lot of permanent crap in there, but even a pen would rattle around and drive me crazy at idle.

They make take up 1/8" or so of wall space, but nothing I'd ever miss.

I think he's asking about the liners (no zippers) and not the bags.
