Default Rinehart True duals vs Rinehart slip ons???

I have a 07 Street Glide with Rinehart Slip ons. Does anybody have any dyno numbers to compare the slip ons vs true duals?? I am thinking of getting the true duals, but was curious about what the hp difference would be?

I have the slip ons but I converted with a fullsac true dual. I dont have any numbers with the head pipes stock but my sig has my numbers as they stand now. Keep in mind mine is a TC88

I can post mine later today when I'm home. I have the Rinehart TDs with Stage I. I remember 10 hp increase, but not the torque. I've been doing taxes, so numbers recall isn't sharp at the moment.

I don't know the numbers, but the Rinehart rep at the Indy Dealer show told me the performance is pretty similar, with the TDs trading a little low end torque for a little more wide open power. Of course, everything depends on how good your tune is once you put them on...

I hope Kdietz see's this thread...
he just went thru a similar incident with his system...
His system was factory headers and recored mufflers and had it tunned and dynoed...
later he put the Vance and Hines headers on and the same recored mufflers he originally had...
Had it re-dynoed and gained like 10 more ponys and torq over the original factory exhaust...
Food for thought...

I just put the Rinehart slip on's on my 07 RKC. It made 73 HP and 87 ft lbs of torque. The bike runs strong but I am getting a little back popping on decel under certain conditions. I heard that is mostly due to still having the cross over pipe.....CJ

I can get numbers from shop I just got my true duals on at tomorrow if someone posts numbers with slip ons. I know it may not be the best comparison as I have a thundermax on the bike, but you might get an idea. Also, if you don't like it loud you may not like the Rinehart TD set up. It is loud!!! Sounds like a Harley should IMHO.

I'm very pleased with my true dual setup....I didn't notice any loss of low end torque, in fact it seems to pull better at all speeds

I got it dyno'd again when I did the TD's and got great numbers for a 88" and 510g's....84hp and 87tq

I think he did so well with this tune because he could completely tune for each cylinder, which he never could do with the stock headers....JMHO
