Default Trouble with dresser duals..

I go to put my dresser duals on, and the front pipe went on easy no problem. Now for the rear.. HA not so easy, seems like there is no possible way the bracket could work and if there is. Can someone shed some light on the subject ..

Need more info. What doesn't seem to fit, the bracket to the bike or to the pipes ? I don't remember having any issues installing mine.

I didn't have a problem with the DDs but the 4" Rineharts I put on them (specifically the right side) rides right up against the spindle nut in-spite of the divet on the pipe. Its my only dislike on the whole setup. Make sure they didn't short you any parts, mine was missing several parts, could that be a factor?

The pictures in the PDF that was copied sixteen times before going in the box are the worst, I downloaded the PDF hoping for better but no, the pics suck. Everything else about the install wasn't bad but figuring out the rear pipe bracket at the starter was maddening. Didn't help that I had removed and trashed the stock exhaust 3 months earlier. So going by memory wasn't an option. You pretty much need a picture and have to say those are the worst directions and pictures I've ever seen, and I've seen some bad Harley documents.

I'm thinking the pics were taken with a cell phone, printed and photo copied once or twice, scanned in and reduced to 160 bit, cropped and rotated twice, pasted into a PDF, and then saved at the lowest quality setting Adobe offers. Sound about right OP?

It is very important to loosely assemble everything and fit it all before tightening the slip joints. They fit, I have installed 5-6 sets.

Need more bike and installation info bro. I'd be glad to go take pics of my Dresser Duals setup on my '05 RKC if that's what you are dealing with. Which bracket where? Mine were a piece of cake to install.....everything fell right into place.

Wrong instructions for his year model.

Did you remove the stock bracket? There was another bracket in the box for the dresser duals.
