always the high side, could have something to do with being left handed. ha!

Always mount low side - always dismount high side.

kinda surprised to see so many use the high side like me, i hardley ever see anybody else do it. rarely will i get on or off on the low side

This is the way I mount my Ultra most of the time. I was shown this method from a friend while travelling across the country; he was shown it by a Sheriff. I had a tall seat bag on my passenger seat, using it as a backrest, & was having all kind of difficulty mounting from the low left side. He demonstrated the "patrolman" mount & I used it for the rest of the trip & beyond. Just be sure the handlebar is cranked over to the left, & that the bike is not on ground that leans low to the right. I tried it once when the bike was sitting on ground like that, & watched my side stand lift off the ground a tad as I mounted.
