Default Duals without re-map?

Just bought the V&H true dual headers and slip ons! Can I run the bike without re-mapping or installing a fuel management device? 07 Ultra

Yer going to need a Race Tuner etc or other device and ideally a dyno to get the most out of your bike. I just installed the same setup yesterday and it's at the dealer for a dyno now.

I've installed the fullsac dual conversion along with a set of recored Road King Mufflers. I was told by my dealer that I didn't need the remap till I replace the filter with a K&N or a Screaming Eagle filter. He mentioned to check the plugs after a day and so far no problems. I just had my 10k service done on my 06 flhti and had the injectors replaced with the 25 degree ones since I was getting coughing in between gear changes at times. Now the bike runs perfect but I'm probably going with a K&N soon and possibly some louder slip ons like bassanis or some supertrapp internal disc slip ons. I'd check the plugs after a day or so and see exactly what color they are. Hope this helps.

As long as you dont change your air filter I dont think you need to re map.

Hi, I did a set of rush slip ons with 2.5" baffles and no other changes. While i get alot of pop on decel and major drag when off throttle, the bike runs ok. I AM getting some blueing tho on the right side muffler. So I know I am waaaay leaned out. I will be doing the sert I think with a k&n as soon as i can. I qwant to open this beast up and see what she can do.

Slip-Ons NO
Exhaust Systems - YES

Might as well put a Ness Big Sucker ($109.00 E-Bay) & V&H Fuelpak ($195.00 E-Bay) & you'll be all set...

My tune changed a lot when I went to True Duals.....I think you are messing with trouble.....go ahead and add what you want and get it dyno tuned....best money you can spend on your bike

Any chance on getting a copy of that map? I have not installed my dresser duals yet because of that.
