Default Jackpots to SE Slipons = Hating life!

I am miserable.

I had Jackpot 4" pro touring, and fell in love with the deep bass rumble. However i did not like the look of the ascending diameter at all, especially on my new 2014 RK

So bought a set of SE slips a while ago and only now got around to install them ... i am disgusted, and pissed off at self for not hearing them before buying.

SO quiet .. sounds about same as stock?? The Jackpots rumble at idle but low enough its not annoying to leave running, and BARK as badazz as you want it to when twisting.

Can baffles be changed? would it make much difference? Should i yank these and immediately sell? If i want to run this quiet i might as well put stocks back on

Are your SE pipes the CVO 4" cans? If so check out Fullsac.com.

You swap out the baffles for your choice of loudness via baffle size.

I dont think they are 4"

they have a black tip on them, and have black lettering on the side that say "screaming eagle"

You saying there is no baffle change available for SE touring slips?

No, I have no experience with those- it sounds more like you know you want the jackpots.

Mike i really love the sound of the Jackpots, it is so unique and perfect in every way!! Low enough and bassy at idle, and scares the chit out of people when i twist it .. hehe

BUT i cannot get past the look. IMO, it cheapens the look of my brand new bike.

The SE Street Cannons have a good sound once they burn out some and the baffles are removable. They are 4" The smaller SE Street Touring don't sound much different than stock.

Is there a way to take the mufflers apart, to take some packing out and/or change baffles?

I just put a set of the jackpot 4" dyno tune slash ups on my 2014 SGS. I debated going with the pro tourers, but like you I did not like the shape. Man I love these mufflers. Your description of the pro tourers exactly describes the 4" slash ups. On the SGS the line of the slash up follows the line of the hard bags perfectly. Sounds like that might be what your looking for.
