Default Black/Chrome Exhaust Ultra Limited

Just traded in the Street Glide for new Ultra Limited. Looking at exhaust mods and was thinking Black Exhaust and Pipes. Bike's Charcoal/Vivid Black.

Anyone running all black pipes/exhaust? Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated……I "think" I like the idea….but would love to hear some feedback before pulling the trigger.

I just bought some Samson Hell Raiser 2:2 right side discharge pipes for my SG. I bought the ceramic sinister black version for there ability to handle heat. The heat shields are ceramic coated as well but I sent them off to be powdered gloss black on the outside and should get them in a day or two. Once mounted, I'll post some pics and let you know how they handle the heat.

I got bored of the standard bagger duals, 2:1, x-pipe etc that seam to be on nearly every bike out there so this is a bit of a departure from the normal.

I'm running all black on my 2010 FLHTCU (Vivid Black/Silver) and get alot of compliments. Ceramic (satin) on factory heat shields over 2-1-2 Jackpot headpipe with black Rineheart slip ons. I get alot of compliments, and I think it looks pretty good as well. I can't post pics from here, but will get some up later.

Try it and if you don't like it, or get oil stains from blow-by like mine did, you can powder coat them or blast them with hi-heat paint!

Been thinking about this lately myself.I have a couple or three stock(ish) exhaust systems I can play with, been thinking of having 1 ceramic coated black if I don't like it I can go back to chrome pretty quick.I suppose I could just BBQ black a muffler and heat shields an call it done.
