Default C&C Solo Seat UPDATED new Wheels 4-19-07 Thanks Bart!

I just ordered a solo seat for my FLHRSI from Chuck at C&C. I want a way to convert fromhighway cruiser to street cruiser and with the detachabkle hardware and locks it makes it a snap. He was pleasant and took the time to talk and answer all my questions. After some posts on this forum and seeing his stuff on eBay I decided to take the plunge. They are going to match the stitching on the pattern to my bike color and ship for free. $265 delivered! I opted for vinyl because it is more forgiving that natural leather. Can't hardly beat that deal. I am not affliated with nor will I recieve any remuneration for this, lest you skeptics think otherwise. All their seats are here at www.harleyseats.net or www.ccseats.net

My wife says you guys are costing me too much money![sm=innoc.gif]

How about a back rest? Can a backrest be added to the seat?

They also sell a passenger pillon. But read the fine print... it isn't made to actually be ridden. That is why I decided not to go with them. They look great and seem like great people, but would be nice to just throw on a pass pillon for the wife-

I would think that any passenger pillion that sticks on with suction cups (most or all do) would recommend against actually riding on it. If I made them, my fine print would be a little larger to cover my butt.

While I understand the pillion piece, all I wanted was a different, comfortable and cool solo seat. I have a great Mustang seat for 2 up and changing them is a snap. I will write more in this thread about comfort and operability when the seat arrives. These guys are a startup (past 2 years) and I wanted to express my thanks to them here. BTW, they will also make a custom seat to your specs and recover any seat you care to send them.

Whateva,
The look of your seat and bag covers made my mind up to order one myself. I also asked them to get some hard bags and make a template so I could have covers for mine!
