Sorry. Hadn't posted here in a while. Have been reading a lot of threads catching up. Got tired of reading them all.

An even better defensive move would be to adjust your riding position in relation to the vehicle you speak of that way you still have both hands on the grips prepared for any kind of action needed. To each their own though.

How exactly do you operate your horn? My scooters have always only needed a movement of my left thumb. And that is surely faster then " adjust your riding position in relation to the vehicle you speak of".

This also works when there isn't time to adjust your position.

You are right "To each their own though".

Howards Hog Horns, called and got a great deal on some "seconds". Best part is they can be operated with both hands on the grips...

Whatever I get, it won't be any bigger than stock.
I installed a Wolo electric air horn on my 12 Ultra Limited. It fits where the OEM horn mounts to and requires a relay switch that comes with the horn. IMO it looks good and sounds fantastic. Press the horn button and watch them look to see if a semi is coming.

I used my horn on e when i was about to get sideswiped the cager never saw me even after hanging on the horn while in her face. That wAs 14 years ago and the last time i used it to warn someone. Truth of the matter is if you see a situation and you need to use the horn. That means you have recognized a hazard and choose to commit to honking instead of reacting. Any professional drivers course 101 will tell you that

I put the Kuryakyn wolo high/low horn on mine. Nice and loud, and sounds like a Caddy or truck instead of a moped. The flame horn cover looks nice too.

Looking at the Wolo "Bad Boy" on Harbor Freight --

I like the concept, but I don't care for the funky graphics -- Is there a way to remove this stuff?

Haha! I like it. I take pride in being the cheapest man on this site!
