Default Tools for everyday use and long trips...

I'm looking to make sure that I've this thought out.

Here's a list of what I normally have on me, but I'm going on alonger trip right here in the near future and want to make sure I have what Ineed...

Any suggestions would be great!

On the bike I carry:

Tools

· Knife

· Flashlight

· Velcro straps/strips

· Zip ties - lots of different sizes

· Needle nose with side cutters

· Phillips/flat screwdrivers

· 2' of 20 gauge wire

· Full set of Torx

· Full set of Alan’s

· Ratchet & compact set of drives (various SAE sizes)

· Spare Kickstand Spring

· Electrical Tape

· And...a cowbell. Can never have too much cowbell!

First aid & Saftey:

· Reflective jackets (2)

· Rain Gear

· Anyone carry anything here?

What am I missing here?…Seriously…

Looks like a pretty comprehensive setup. I would be interested in how all this is organized. i.e. toolbox, toolbag, ziplock, ect.

Don't forget the 10mm wrench/socket for under the seat.

I would just add some duct tape (6' wrapped around cardboard), vise grips, and an adjustable wrench or 2. And a tire plug kit.

Edit for some blue loctite.

10mm 12-point socket in case the brake caliper is loose or needs removed. I actually just bought the Windzone kit online and added couple things.

A rag.

To check oil, grab something hot, wipe your hands down.

Seems simple, but so many people end up using a perfectly good doo-rag or tee-shirt when they are on the side of the road.
