I would check with the manufacturer to see what the difference is but you have a V-Twin I think I would go with that. And does it meet or exceed H.D. spec's ?

Should be API SJ, different additive mix for hot running V Twins.

The only 20W-50 V-Twin they make is semi-synthetic (similar to HD Syn 3):

http://www.belray.com/v-twin-semi-sy...ine-oil-20w-50

The only V-Twin fully synthetic they make is a 10W-50

http://www.belray.com/v-twin-synthet...ine-oil-10w-50

I don't know if it's acceptable to use a 10W-50.

Here's Mobil 1's info specifying SJ for V-Twins:

http://www.mobil.com/USA-English/Lub...ycle_Oils.aspx

I'd use Mobil one 20W-50 V-Twin if I could get it in Canada but can't. Used it in my track car,
66 open track days, 6 grand shifts, 0 issues. I also watched them pour another Mobil 1 aviation
oil into the jet engines I flew for years. Blackstone on my car reports were clean with lots of additive
package left. I swear by the stuff. Towing down to Gatlinburg in June for a week in the Smokies.
Be bring back lots of it.

so since all v twins are air cooled? u must use v twin oil? i use any good motor oil in the motor. save the v twin stuff for wet clutch, even then if the oil is wet clutch safe then its also good for the primary.
