Well we road a road king, swapped with a friend last sunday. (Swapped bikes, Not wife ) she loved the way it road. AndI am meeting her half way. I am just not ready for an ultra for my everyday rider. ButI love the way the street glide looks, and could give up my Heritage for her to be comfortable,ifI go to the SG. I would go to the sundowner seat and add the rider backrest and sissy bar befor I ever left the shop.

..uniondog...classic into a SG..doesn't the EGC have a blond motor? Almost bought a ECG advertised as a SG from a guy in south florida..asking SG type money for a EGC. Really not the same thing..

My wife just went from a 2001 Heritage to a 2007 SG. She keeps wondering why she waited so long to get on a dresser. Better handling, better ride, a bit better power without the counterbalacers.. She really liked the style of the Heritage, but finds she likes the SG better performance and useability wise.

Regards,

Bill

I traded in my really great '05' Softail Standard with 10k on her for an '01' Roadglide. I only wanted to test ride a RG and that one ride sold me on that machine. I miss the "BlueBike", but don't regret the swap at all when I cruisin down the highway.

well I will be making the swap if i can either sell my Heritage or make the deal at the dealer. But you have never had an exercise in patience till you try and deal with the dealers we have here. I am hoping that it has changed , but I would not bet the farm on it.

I have a Heritage well it used to be a heritage, and a 03 ultra. I might put 1000 miles on the heritage a year. The Ultra out performs the heritage in every way. You will not be sorry if you go to a bagger.

I'm someone who went from and Electra Glide to a Softail (for only one season), then back to a Street Glide this year. You can't beat the ride of a Glide.

well I am going to the dealer this morning and see If I can make the deal on A street Glide. Brother is looking to purchase one as well. I must admit that I am not optimistic that I will be able to make the deal. My dealers are not the most customer appreciative people in the world.

well I did not make the deal at the dealer, but I am about 95 percent that my heritage will be bought on Monday. Kinda makes me sad, but I am excited about getting the new street glide.
